LOCAL policing officers from Redditch visited Astwood Bank Beavers to give youngsters an opportunity to find out what the police do.
The Beavers group, all aged six to eight, listened as local policing officer Pc Richard Waterhouse spoke about police work in general and explained more about his role.
He also spoke to them about keeping safe and what they can do to help the police.
They were all given crime prevention packs to take home to their parents.
Pc Waterhouse said: “The Beavers are expected to find out more about the work different people do within the community and we hope it was useful for them to hear more about the role of the police.
“The group listened with interest and certainly asked plenty of questions. We hope they enjoyed the visit as much as we did.”
