VISITORS to Arrow Valley Park are being asked to tread carefully as they might find something slithering under foot.
There have been several sightings of grass snakes at the park recently, including this picture which was taken by Paul Johnson as he was walking by the Japanese garden side of the lake.
A spokesman for the park said: “We don’t have huge numbers of sightings but someone will occasionally spot a large one.
“The other day we were actually making felt snakes and someone came into the centre and said they had just spotted a snake with a frog in its mouth.”
