THE Greenfingers charity will get a boost with the start of the Greenfingers Garden Party week at Hillier Garden Centre Redditch.

The highlight of the week is late night opening on Thursday, June 25 when visitors can win the chance to have a VIP tour of the Chelsea Flower Show 2010.

Doors open at 5.30pm and a delicious glass of Bucks Fizz and tasty nibbles will get the party off with a bang. There’s a raffle to win a £100 Hillier gift token. All entries then go forward to a company wide draw for the Chelsea Flower Show tickets.

Staff at Redditch are getting creative by making a mosaic of Gerbera flowers that will be auctioned for the charity later this year. On Wednesday, June 24, visitors can bring their cars to the garden centre and get it cleaned by staff for a small donation to Greenfingers.

Greenfingers is a charity championed by the horticultural industry and dedicated to creating special gardens at children’s hospices. The idea is to create truly magical spaces for life-limited children so they can enjoy them alongside their parents.
