Spooky session will aid charity

BORDESLEY Hall, reputed to be haunted by the mysterious White Lady, will open its doors for a single night on Friday, November 21 to a small group of brave ghost hunters.

Make-A-Wish Foundation UK challenges those who claim they are not afraid of the dark to sign up for an exclusive evening in this ghost hot-spot in aid of the leading wish-granting charity which grants wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.

Participants brave enough to take part in this hair-raising event will be joined by ghost experts Richard Felix, paranormal historian on the TV programme Most Haunted, and Mark Webb, who is known for such shows as Famous and Frightened, Haunted Homes and Living with the Dead.

Only 30 places are available for this spine-tingling evening and tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis. To secure a place, people send a deposit of £25 with the aim to raise a further £125 in sponsorship.

All the money raised will go to Make-A-Wish Foundation UK to help grant more magical wishes to children fighting life-threatening illnesses in the UK.

Since 1986 Make-A-Wish has granted over 5,000 wishes and aims to grant 1,000 a year by the end of 2010.

For more information or to take part, call Rebecca Edney, Wales and Western England regional co-ordinator at Make-A-Wish, on 64406 or email rebecca.edney@makeawish.org.uk.

The evening will start at 7pm and is expected to continue until 1am. For further information about Make-A-Wish, or to make a donation, visit www.make-a-wish.org.uk.
