Representing those who voted for me

4:22pm Monday 14th April 2008

IN response to recent comments made regarding myself I would like to say I became a councillor to help the people I represent, and over the last eleven years I've done just that.

For the first time last year Cllr Passingham and myself managed to get six pupils from Pitcheroak Special School onto the Local Democracy event at the Town Hall.

I'm a governor at two schools and also a voluntary cashier for the Credit Union. Regarding the county council, we all attend meetings and car share.

Councillor Dot Deedley
