A WOODLAND adventure is just one of the outdoor opportunities available for youngsters during the Easter holidays.
The fun activities take place at Worcestershire County Council's Bishops Wood Environmental Centre off the A449 at Crossway Green, near Stourport-on-Severn.
Children aged six to 12 are invited to take part at the centre on either Tuesday, April 1, or Wednesday, April 2. The events are called Wally's Woodland Adventure and Creative Crawly Creatures.
Both activities run from 1pm until 3.30pm and cost £5 per child.
Wally's Woodland Adventure, on the Tuesday, involves a mission to save Wally, who is lost in the woodland. Creative Crawly Creatures is a search for the weird and wonderful creatures of the woodland. Children will also have the opportunity to create their own crawly creature using materials found in the woodland.
Those wanting to book a place should contact the centre on 01299 250513 by Wednesday.
The sessions will run with a maximum of 20 children.
Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult throughout the session and suitable outdoor clothing, including wellies, should be worn.
