A SALES manager from a Redditch forklift truck firm and his wife are celebrating are scooping up £28,178 by matching five balls and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on March 8.
Paul Berrow, 33, from Solihull, sales manager at Translift Bendi, has played Lotto online for the last two years and received his all important email last Sunday morning suggesting he should check his account to receive some exciting news.
But as he had to take his son and daughter to swimming and tennis lessons, it was 2pm before he could check what the news was.
Paul said: "As soon as I saw the news I just looked at the email and went straight into denial. I must have spent five minutes just staring at the computer.
"My wife Emma wondered what was going on but I just said we'd won a few quid and had to ring Camelot.
"I spoke to Camelot and was going through the procedures and by this time Emma had worked out how much we'd won and was screaming and dancing around the living room."
But it was not until Camelot rang Paul back to confirm everything that it finally hit home for him just how much they had won.
The family plan to us the money to pay off their mortgage, for extra spending money during their holiday in Disney World and Paul plans to treat himself to a hot tub.
