THERE'S fun for all the family at scarecrow-making sessions at Redditch’s Forge Mill Needle Museum this week.
Special scarecrow crafting sessions are being held at the museum on Needle Mill Lane on Wednesday and Thursday from 11am until 3pm.
The session costs just £3 and visitors can bring some old clothes along and buy other materials.
Mayor of Redditch cllr Juliet Brunner will judge the best three scarecrows, with winners receiving £75, £50 or £25 of Kingfisher Shopping Centre vouchers.
Scarecrow Day also follows on Sunday from 11am until 4pm, featuring a last chance to make scarecrows alongside children’s activities, pony rides, craft stalls, live music from The Fidgets, a music workshop, and more. Admission to Scarecrow Day includes entry to the museum’s featured Lego exhibition, ‘Brick Built’ and is just £1 for children, and £2 for adults.
