A CARE home in Alcester will be holding a family fun day.

The open day is a chance for anyone interested in Cherry Trees Care Home and the services it offers to chat to staff, and enjoy the hospitality and entertainment.

There will be live entertainment in the garden and homemade cakes and light refreshments, a car boot sale, bouncy castle, tombola, and free ice cream.

Louise Martin, general manager at Cherry Trees, said: “I’m excited about welcoming new visitors and existing friends of the home to our open day for what will no doubt be both a fun and relaxing event.

"It’s a great time to visit the home and ask questions, but also just to enjoy some delightful entertainment in a homely and friendly setting.”

It is on August 11 from noon.
