THE Redditch Labour Party has once again started collecting school uniforms for needy families in the town.
Anyone with any unwanted uniforms is being urged to get in touch with the group which can collect items.
Local schools are also being asked to donate any uniforms that are in their lost property boxes.
Redditch Councillor Joe Baker, who set up the project, said: "Over the five years the project has been running we have helped hundreds of families in Redditch who have been finding it financially difficult to provide uniforms for their children.
"I feel it is our responsibility to help those who have suffered as a result of austerity and cuts to funding, so please help by donating your unwanted good quality uniforms and shoes."
