THE League of Friends of the Alexandra Hospital has raised £2,000 which will go toward vital equipment at the hospital.
The cash was raised via an Easter raffle, which saw a giant egg won by Chris Stewart.
Money raised by the League of Friends is put towards the purchase of a wide variety of items needed by the hospital, from fans to improve patient comfort on the wards to an ambient light system to improve the experience of patients using the MRI scanner.
