8 months pregnant woman trapped in lift in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre
A PREGNANT woman had to be rescued by fire crews after becoming stuck in a lift in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.
The Debenhams employee, who is eight months pregnant, was trapped in a lift in the store for around 20 minutes this morning.
Firefighters from the town managed to free the woman, who was inside the lift on her own.
A spokesman from the fire crew said that she was very pleased to see them.
An engineer was called out to inspect the lift.
