Boiler smoke causes false alarm for Redditch firefighters
REDDITCH firefighters found themselves sent out to a false alarm this morning (Friday, January 12).
The Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service team were responding to reports of smoke issuing from a property in Winyates at about 7.24am.
However, when the crew reached the property they found it was a false alarm caused by steam coming from a boiler.
