A REDDITCH dog and his owner have qualified for the prestigious Kennel Club Olympia Agility Stakes finals in London later this month.
Stuart Doughty from Redditch qualified for the large novice dog competition with his four year-old Border Collie, Skinnt
Stuart, along with the country’s most talented agility dogs and handlers have been competing in qualifying heats at shows across the country in an attempt to gain a place in the finals, which take place on Sunday, December 17.
Stuart has been competing in agility for 15 years but this will be his first time competing at Olympia.
“I am very excited and nervous to be competing at Olympia – my dog means everything to me,” he said.
Caroline Kisko, from the Kennel Club, said: “Olympia is one of the highlights of the agility calendar and each year we really look forward to watching all the talented dogs and their handlers in action."
