THERE’S a chance to get into the Christmas spirit a couple of week’s early when Northumberland Theatre Co (NTC) bring their magical production of The Princess and The Goblin to Feckenham Village Hall on Sunday, December 10 at 7pm.

This is the exciting adventure story of Princess Irene who has been promised as the bride of the goblin king’s son – except he hasn’t asked her yet.

Cue fun and frantic shenanigans as the goblins try to steal Irene away.

There are catchy songs, silly dance routines and lots of fun for everyone age five to 500 (goblins live very long lives).

A colourful and lively show guaranteed to get youngsters of all ages in the mood for the festivities.

A spokesman said: "NTC, working with Shindig, have brought their shows to Feckenham before - and they don’t do things by halves. The show will be fully staged with dazzling scenery, lighting and special effects.

"The company will be providing rugs and cushions near the stage for small children - or very tired parents… or very old goblins."

The Princess and The Goblin is at Feckenham Village Hall.

Doors open at 6.30pm and there’s a licensed bar for parents and refreshments for the kids.

Tickets (£11 under 12s £8) are on sale at the Village Shop and The Rose & Crown in Feckenham or via ticketsource.co.uk/feckenham or by phone on 0333 666 3366
