A 47-year-old man who died after he was hit by a car along the A448 in Bromsgrove towards Redditch has been named.

Nabojsa Terzic, who was originally from Croatia, but had been living in Birmingham, was hit by a black Volkswagen Polo at around 8.05pm on Wednesday, November 22.

The pedestrian suffered serious head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers from West Mercia Police are now appealing for witnesses to the fatal collision.

Sergeant Lee Baker, of West Mercia Police's Operations Patrol Unit, who is leading the investigation, said: "This was a tragic incident and my thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by it.

"I would ask anyone who may have information to contact me.

"The A38 and A448 would have been busy at the time and someone may have seen the victim who was wearing a black hooded top and blue jeans.

"A comprehensive investigation is underway and specialist officers are supporting the family."

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 758S of 22 November.
