RESIDENTS at a Sanctuary Care home in Redditch are inviting the public to join them when they venture to France for a virtual summer cruise event.
This Monday, between 10.30am and noon, Brambles Residential Care Home in Birchfield Road will be throwing open the doors for their themed French breakfast, with pastries and croissants, followed by a game or two of boules.
The event forms part of the home’s ‘summer cruise’ week, where residents will sample the cultures of a different country every day.
During the week they will be transported to destinations like Italy, Spain, Greece and Egypt.
The home’s activities leader Fiona Morsy said: “Our residents absolutely love to welcome people from the local community into their home and we are particularly excited about our French excursion.”
