COUNCIL tenants are being encouraged to complete a survey to provide their opinions on Redditch Borough Council’s housing services.

The Tenants Survey 2017 will be used to help measure service standards as well as understanding what tenants want and need from the council as their landlord, to help tailor services for the future.

The survey can be completed online here www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/TenantsSurvey2017. Alternatively, paper copies of the survey are available to collect from the town hall or local offices at Batchley, Winyates Centre or Woodrow Centre and when completed should be returned to one of these offices.

The survey should take no more than approximately 15 minutes to complete. As a thank you, any tenants who complete the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 B&Q gift card. Terms and conditions apply. If you do not wish to be included in the draw please leave the prize draw page blank.

Councillor Mark Shurmer, whose portfolio covers housing services, said: “As a council, and as a landlord, we are continually looking at how we can improve our services for our customers and tenants.

“By filling in this questionnaire tenants will be providing us with the important data we need in order to understand what they actually want. I would encourage as many of our tenants as possible to complete this short survey as it could really make a difference to the services we provide.”

The deadline for online submissions is 5pm on Friday, September 1. Paper copies can be submitted until 1pm on Monday, September 4.

The results of this survey will be made available on the council's Housing section of the website and will be published in an annual report.
