A MAN armed with knives and a crossbow was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill at a Redditch home.
Armed officers were deployed to Gretton Close following reports of a man threatening to harm himself about 8pm on Sunday, March 19.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "On their arrival threats were made to officers and police negotiators were utilised to bring the matter to a safe resolution."
The 30-year-old was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill and affray.
He currently remains in police custody.
The crossbow was later confirmed as a toy.
