PEOPLE are being invited to take the plunge this weekend at the official launch of a new dive centre in Studley.

The Scuba School centre will be offering information about the services they provide; including snorkelling, children’s scuba diving parties, learning to scuba dive and advanced skills, experience and qualifications in field.

Interested visitors can meet team members, who are easily recognisable in their purple shirts, and enjoy a glass of bubbly to celebrate the opening.

Jane Cooper, from Scuba School, said: "Scuba diving is relatively easy and only requires a short period of training to get you started. Whether your goal is fish watching, ocean conservation or simply meeting likeminded people, 70 per cent of the globe will become accessible to you the moment you learn to breathe underwater."

The group also have an active diving club, which runs both scuba diving and social trips throughout the year.

Scuba School provide diving training tailored to individual needs and capabilities.

Courses start from the age of eight.

Training is provided under the supervision of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI).

PADI is the world’s most popular and widely recognised scuba diving course and certifies you to dive anywhere in the world.
