FOLLOWING a number of recent armed robberies in the local area the Redditch Self-defence Association has arranged to train and support the victims.
The violent crimes were carried out at Tesco Express Studley and Greenland’s Post Office, both in the last few weeks.
Founder of the association Pete Martin said the incidents had effected several employees.
He said: “The aftermath of violent crime cannot be underestimated and can effect victims for many years to come.”
A seminar for both establishments has been arranged for next month and one to one support has also been provided.
The Self Defence Association will be attending Redditch Boxing Academy’s free open day this Saturday, March 4 to give out free advice and self-defence tips.
Mr Martin urged anyone who has been a victim of violent crime get in touch.
