AN armed robber who threatened a female Tesco staff member with a knife is being hunted by police.
Warwickshire Police is investigating the raid in Alcester Road, Studley, at 7am today (Wednesday, February 15) which saw the man flee with cash from two tills.
The worker was left very shaken by the incident but was not hurt.
The offender is described as white, of medium build, wearing a black beanie hat, grey jacket and light coloured trousers. He was holding a green carrier bag which contained the stolen cash, and made off towards an alleyway near the store.
Officers have made local enquiries and are studying CCTV footage.
They would like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the vicinity of Tesco Express or has any information which would help them with their enquiries.
