GOOD morning. We are here to provide any information on incidents that might crop up throughout the rush hour period this morning on our Black Country and North Worcestershire roads.

So far the roads across the area are pretty quiet, but there is slow traffic in Oldbury on A4123 Wolverhampton Road southbound at A4034 Churchbridge (Birchley Island) and in Dudley on A4123 New Birmingham Road southbound at A4033 Tividale Road / A461 Burnt Tree (Burnt Tree Traffic Lights).

There are also delays of up to ten minutes on trains running between Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton due to signalling problem at Smethwick Rolfe St. Trains are unable to run on some of the lines between the stations.

One lane is closed causing slow traffic on M6 Southbound between J6 A38(M) Spaghetti Junction and J5 A452 (Castle Bromwich), due to broken down vehicle. Congestion on M6 to J7 A34 (Great Barr).

There are also areas of planned roadworks which are causing delays, including:

Temporary traffic lights on Rowney Green Lane in Rowney Green between Radford Road and The Holloway, temporary lights and water main work in Bromsgrove on School Drive near Oakhurst Drive, and temporary lights and water main work on A463 Gospel End Road in Gospel End between Penn Road and Red Lane.

Middlefield Lane in Hagley is both ways closed due to roadworks between B4187 Worcester Road and A456 Kidderminster Road, while in Bewdley, Park Lane is closed both ways due to roadworks between Herne's Nest and Snuff Mill Walk and one lane closed due to roadworks and gas main work on A4037 Tipton Road in Dudley at A459 Castle Hill / A461 Dudley Southern By-Pass (Castle Gate Island).

There are also temporary traffic lights in Netherton on Saltwells Road at Quarry Road, in Dudley on Dibdale Street at Dibdale Road, in Halesowen on A459 Dudley Road at A4099 Coombs Road / Furnace Hill and in Kidderminster on A451 Stourbridge Road at Springfield Lane.
