A REDDITCH playground that appeared to have been vandalised with white paint is actually believed to have been plastered in yoghurt.
Youngsters were disappointed on Monday (January 16) when they visited Lodge Park Playground and found it sprayed with a mystery substance, which meant children were unable to use the park.
Parents took to social media to vent their frustration and the substance was cleaned on Thursday (January 19) after residents contacted Redditch Borough Council.
A Redditch Borough Council spokesman said: "As soon as we were notified about the spillage at the play park, which turned out to be, we think, yoghurt, we cleaned it up immediately.
"While we visit our play areas and parks on a regular basis we do rely on our residents to report spillages or damage so we can rectify it as soon as possible."
