REDDITCH MP Karen Lumley has congratulated Bee Lighting on being crowned National Small Business of the Year.
Vehicle lighting company Bee Lighting Ltd, located in Enfield Industrial Estate, received the award from the British Chamber of Commerce on Friday, November 25.
Previously, the business scooped the West Midlands heat of the British Chamber Business Awards alongside jewellery manufacturer Gemporia, based in Eagle Road, Moons Moat, who received 'Best Use of Technology'.
Mrs Lumley said: "It has been a pleasure to get to know Bee Lighting through my Business Leaders’ initiative. They clearly exemplify the hard-working entrepreneurial spirit of, not just Redditch, but the whole country.
"This award is thoroughly deserved and I look forward to helping Bee Lighting build on this success going forward. It’s because of businesses like Bee Lighting that the UK has high employment and the fastest growing advanced economy."
