A DIRECTORY listing activities and groups helping to improve Redditch residents’ wellbeing is now available.

The document, created by the Jigsaw Project, features more than 200 entries from mother and baby groups to keep fit for the over 50s.

It includes helplines for those in crisis, support for those with low-level mental health issues, and cafes and drop in centres.

The Jigsaw Project brings together Yum Tum Club and Redditch Mental Health Action Group (MHAG) with the aim of promoting activities relating to wellbeing and focuses on six key themes: physical health, mental health, food, relationships, creativity and community.

MHAG chair Harriet Ernstsons-Evans said: “We’re really pleased with the finished directory and would like to thank all those who have contributed to it. Of course, we know it doesn’t feature every single great activity or group going on within Redditch but we hope it’s a start that can be built on year after year.

“We know Redditch has a thriving community and there are so many excellent resources out there but often people simply don’t know about them, so we want to shine a light on as many groups and meetings as possible.”
