ALCESTER-based author P. T. Reade has released his first full-length mystery thriller novel.
P.T Reade's book Grave Walker follows character Thomas Blume, who is hot on the trail of the man that killed his family.
Previously, he released four novellas in the Thomas Blume series.
Mr Reade, also known as Phil, started writing fiction after he was made redundant from his graphic design job in 2015.
He said: "If you told me three years ago that I would become a full-time author.I wouldn't have believed you but today I'm proud to be releasing my new title."
Inspired by the books he read as a youngster, he now hopes to join the literary greats.
He added: "I always loved books growing up.
"The way in which they could transport you to another world fascinated me and the mystery and thriller genres especially, were always so gripping.
"I'm humbled by the response my books have received so far and to have my work compared to Raymond Chandler, Michael Connelly and more is a dream come true; these are the kind of authors that I read when I was younger."
Grave Walker is available now on Kindle and paperback on Amazon or via GetBook.at.
