A CAT-ASTROPHE was prevented this morning, when firefighters rescued a kitten stuck on the roof of a three-storey building in Redditch.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from the town's fire station attended the blaze in Shipston Close, just before 10am.
They used ladders and working at height gear to safely extract the terrified kitten from the roof.
