POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two cars in Redditch were damaged in the same location, just days apart.

The first incident occurred between 9am and 4.45pm on August 16 at the rear car park behind the shops on Batchley Road, Redditch.

The victim's Black Ford Fiesta had been scratched down the length of the driver's side which caused significant damage.

The second Incident occurred between 2pm and 5pm on August 17 where the victim's Blue Peugeot 206 front windscreen had been damaged towards the driver's side.

PC Richard Field said: "These incidents have caused the victim's some distress and this mindless damage is completely unnecessary. We take all reports of crime seriously and we are currently reviewing CCTV and have stepped up patrols."
