ONE of the finest tribute acts to rock icons Led Zeppelin will be heading to Redditch.

Fred Zeppelin was formed 23 years ago by its four members who shared a love for Led Zeppelin’s music.

During the decades they have had the honour of Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant attending three of their gigs, and they have even played with John Bonham’s son Jason.

Fred Zeppelin were recently voted one of the 10 best live bands to see in a Kerrang poll, and were the only tribute band listed in any category.

The band will be performing at The Rocklands Club in Headless Cross on September 2.

Tickets for the show cost £8 in advance from wegottickets.com/event/331607 or £10 on the door.

Doors open 8.15pm and the band will perform from 9pm.
