Unattended bonfire tackled in Redditch
AN unattended bonfire at allotments in Redditch had to be extinguished yesterday evening (Friday, August 12).
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from the town’s fire station were alerted to the blaze in Throckmorton Road at about 9.16pm.
The crews were able to put out the fire at the allotments which are located at the back of South Redditch Sports and Social Club.
