WITH the weekend to look forward to, we're here to get you moving to your destination on this Friday morning.

Roads around the Black Country and North Worcestershire are looking okay  in general, apart from where there are ongoing road works. Some to look out for are:

  • Bewdley: Roadworks on B4190 Load Street between Severn Side South and Park Lane. One-way system is in place. Repair works take place to St Anne's Church. All local shops and businesses open as per usual.
  • Broome: Delays expected due to temporary traffic lights on A450 Stourbridge Road at Broome Lane.
  • Pensnett: Chapel Street both ways closed due to gas main work between Queen Street and Church Street. Diversion: Via Queen St and Church Street.
  • Bromsgrove: B4091 Stourbridge Road in Bromsgrove closed in both directions between the A448 Market Street junction and the Victoria Road junction, because of drainage works. Diversion in operation.
  • Dudley: One lane closed on A461 Burnt Tree northbound in Dudley between Burnt Tree Traffic Lights and Castle Gate Island, due to roadworks.
  • Stourbridge: Slow traffic on A491 High Street northbound between the A461 Wollaston Road junction and the Vicarage Road junction. In the roadworks area.
