STAND-UP comedian and actor Omid Djalili will be bringing his new show Schmuck for a Night to Redditch later this year.

He has announced a massive 108-date UK tour, taking in top London venues the Shepherd's Bush Empire and Hammersmith Apollo - and, of particular interest to local fans, the Redditch Palace Theatre on November 4 and Worcester's Huntingdon Hall on November 15.

Omid, whose credits range from Hollywood movies and TV to live West End productions, said of his latest show: “Look, I’m just trying to make sense of everything.”

He has appeared on UK and US TV and starred in films such as the Golden Globe and Oscar-nominated Shaun the Sheep Movie, Mr Nice, Gladiator, Sex And The City 2, The Mummy and The Infidel.

Omid was seen recently in the BBC Four series Going Forward with Jo Brand and made appearances in Dickensian for BBC One and Stan Lee’s Lucky Man for Sky 1.

He has also executive-produced the newly-released documentary We Are Many, about the global anti-war demonstrations that took place in 800 cities in 2003.
