A REDDITCH man died after being hit by a car that was reversing down a shared driveway, a court heard.
Gordon Kenneth Graddon, aged 89, of Oakham Close, was struck by a Renault motor vehicle and was knocked to the ground on July 23, 2015.
An inquest held by Worcestershire Coroner’s Service on Monday, May 18, ruled that Mr Graddon died as a result of a road traffic collision.
The medical cause of death was listed as multiple injuries, including a neck fracture and ischaemic heart disease.
He was taken to the Alexandra Hospital where, despite treatment, he deteriorated and died on August 7, 2015.
An inquest into his death opened on August 17, 2015 and closed on May, 4 2016.
