VOLUNTARY and community groups are being invited to bid for the latest round of grants of up to £500 from Redditch Borough Council.
Stronger Communities grants support local community-focused projects and the second round of applications opens on Monday, May 9.
Three or more separate educational and entertainment activities by Bentley Close Community Association and Develop Astwood Bank by Astwood Bank in Bloom were among the projects funded in the previous round of Stronger Communities grants.
Head of community services Judith Willis, said: “In Redditch we have a strong sense of community because of the work carried out by organisations and voluntary groups across the borough. We understand how important voluntary and community projects are to the local area and will continue to support them.”
Applications can be made until June 3.
