A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a fatal crash in Wootton Wawen.
Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, died on Stratford Road just after 8.45pm on Monday, April 25.
The smash involved a silver Ford Fiesta and an orange Kawasaki motorbike.
Two ambulances, a paramedic area support officer and a doctor from the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance responding in a car attended the scene just after 8.30pm.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "Ambulance staff arrived to find a motorcycle which had been involved in a collision with a car. The motorcyclist, a man, was in traumatic cardiac arrest. The medic and ambulance staff worked as a team to deliver advanced life support on the man.
"Sadly, the motorcyclist couldn’t be revived and he was confirmed dead on scene."
The 35-year-old driver is currently in custody.
