WOMEN across Bromsgrove and Redditch are invited to take part in National Ladies' Shooting Day in Tardebigge.

Taking place on June 11 at Hereford and Worcester Shooting Ground, the event brings together women with a range of shooting experience to embrace the art of clay pigeon shooting.

This ground is situated on Brockhill Lane between Redditch and Bromsgrove in a unique Scottish style club house.

The event welcomes women with all levels of experience including complete beginners.

In fact, founder of Shotgun and Chelsea Bun Club, Victoria Knowles-Lacks wants to see more women come and try their hand at clay pigeon shooting for the first time.

Established in 2015, Shotgun and Chelsea Bun Club's National Ladies' Shooting Day's mission is to bring women together and get them out clay shooting.

Last year the event saw 1,086 women attend at 22 different locations across the country, but the club hopes to surpass this figure this year.

Joining women on the day will be fully qualified instructors to show participants the ropes.

The price of the event is £39.50 and also includes gun hire, 30 cartridges, 30 clays and ear and eye protection.
