A MOVING sight can be seen for miles around Mappleborough Green as three crosses have been erected on hillside to mark the start of Holy Week.
This year is the 20th anniversary of the annual Easter tradition, which attracts hundreds of people from across the country and even Europe, particularly on Good Friday, to a service at noon at the top of the hill.
The crosses, symbolic of the crucifixion, are located on Haye Pastures Farm.
This Good Friday service will be led for the 12th time by Mr Phil Wilson with Andy Peate playing well-known Easter Hymns on keyboard.
