GOOD morning. The weekend is almost here and to help you beat the queues and keep that Friday feeling, we’re here with the latest traffic and travel news.

So far this morning the roads across the Black Country and North Worcestershire are looking clear but there is queuing traffic on the Birmingham New Road southbound in Coseley due to roadworks.

That aside, there are also some ongoing roadworks that could delay your journey.

They include:

Quarry Bank: Roadworks are causing delays on Coppice Lane between the junctions with Merry Hill and Victoria Road.

Brierley Hill: One lane is closed on Merry Hill between the junctions with Mount Pleasant and The Boulevard.

North Street is also closed in both directions between the junctions with Baxter Road and Church Street due to gas main work.

Rowley Regis: Church Road is closed between the junctions with Park Avenue and Rowley Village because of roadworks.

Kidderminster: Temporary traffic lights are causing delays on Stourport Road at the Clee Avenue junction.

Redditch: Delays are expected on Birchfield Road at the junction with Foxlydiate Lane due to temporary traffic lights.

Bromsgrove: Temporary traffic lights are in place on Kidderminster Road between the junctions with Perryfields Road and Monsieurs Hall Lane.
