A FREE night of live music is being held on Valentine’s Day at The Cross Keys in Alcester.
Following on from the success of last month’s debut Tuery Sessions, local singer-songwriter Jack Blackman is holding another night of music and entertainment.
A variety of acts will be performing, including acoustic Americana and country music band Grey Wolf, who play love songs, old spirituals murder ballads using traditional instruments.
Following his performance as frontman of Aidan and the Wildfires in the last Tuery Sessions, there will be another chance to hear the soulful husky tones of Aidan Byrne Music in a solo setting.
Mr Blackman said: "Whether you’re feeling the Valentine’s Day love or coming to drown your sorrows, you'll be covered.
"There’ll be something to suit the moods of everyone, whether that be a tug at the heartstrings or a dark tale of a jilted lover."
The event, which is being held from 6pm, will conclude with a jam session.
Mr Blackman added: "This is a great opportunity to see top musicians working outside their comfort zones, occasionally falling flat, but more often than not coming up with inspired one-off performances and creating beautiful noises together."
A raffle will also take place.
