A FIRE broke out at the derelict Greig Centre nursery in Alcester last night.
Fire crews from Alcester, Stratford and Bidford were called to the blaze in Gunnings Road at 9.27pm on Tuesday, November 17.
A spokesman from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival, crews found the whole of the building was on fire and there were concerns that people may be inside.
"Firefighters tackled the fire from both the inside and outside. Crews were able to search the building and confirm no one was involved.
"Crews were at the incident until the early hours of this morning."
The incident was finally closed at 8.26am this morning and an investigation will now be carried out to find the cause.
