A REDDITCH man has been sentenced at Worcester Crown Court to 14 years imprisonment after being found guilty of grievous bodily harm.
Lucasz Luszcz, 32. from Bromsgrove Road, Redditch, stabbed the victim on February 18 this year at an address in Redditch, following a verbal altercation.
Lucasz Luszcz was arrested at the scene of the offence and later charged and remanded in custody. The victim, a 27 year-old man, suffered a single stab wound to the chest and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for treatment.
Investigating officer Temporary Detective Sergeant Jordan Baker said: "I am pleased the sentence imposed upon Luszcz reflects the severity of the offence.
"Whilst the victim went on to make a full recovery, the injuries inflicted upon him could have been fatal were it not for the quick responses of the emergency services who attended the scene."
