ACTRESS Vicki Michelle has said she feared she could have been “blinded” after being hit by a champagne glass during a brawl on Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side.

Police are investigating the row at Elstree Studios in north London between American reality TV personality Farrah Abraham and former contestant Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace.

The 64-year-old ‘Allo ‘Allo actress is thought to have been caught in the crossfire after tensions flared when Aisleyne and Farrah traded insults and the live Channel 5 show was taken off air 10 minutes earlier than scheduled.

Adele has reportedly signed up to appear on a string of US TV shows, prompting speculation she is ready to unveil her highly-anticipated third album.

The Skyfall singer has been working on the follow-up to her 2011 hit album, 21, for more than a year, and rumours have already begun that it may finally be set for release, with the first single dropping in early November.

Now Hits Daily Double has reported that Adele has signed a deal with NBC for four big TV appearances, including The Today Show, SNL, a prime-time special and one more show, possibly The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Russian president Vladimir Putin has called Sir Elton John and agreed to meet with him after Russian pranksters called the singer, posing as the president.

Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov has told Russian news agencies that the president called Sir Elton and “asked him not to feel offended” by the prank.

The president promised to meet the singer as long as his schedule permits and discuss “any issues that he is concerned about”.

Former England footballer David Beckham has urged world leaders to transform the lives of millions of children by putting them at the centre of their development agenda.

At an event in New York, Beckham, who has been a Unicef goodwill ambassador for 10 years, said: “It breaks my heart to see the struggles that children and young people across the world face every day.

“I’ve met children and mothers in South Africa living with HIV, I’ve met children living in the aftermath of typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, and I’ve met children who have experienced violence in Cambodia. Whatever challenges they face, they all share the same hope for a better future.

Former Apprentice candidate James Hill has won Celebrity Big Brother, beating American Austin Armacost, best known for being the ex-boyfriend of designer Marc Jacobs, into second place.

The 27-year-old, who finished in ninth place during the 2014 run of BBC One’s business series, looked shocked when presenter Emma Willis announced he had won the Channel 5 show.

He hugged the man who had been his best friend in the house before exclaiming: “Omigod! Omigod!”
