THE X Factor judges have been given their categories – and it looks like Simon Cowell is slightly disappointed with his chosen group.

The TV mogul has been allocated the over-25s in a public vote, while Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who had the girls last year, will be mentoring the groups.

New judge Rita Ora has been given the girls, with Nick Grimshaw taking charge of the boys.

The vote was decided by fans of the ITV show in one of the latest twists for the 12th series.

The Platt family are facing the end of the road in a dramatic new promo for Coronation Street’s live episode.

The ITV soap will celebrate its 60th anniversary the week of September 21, culminating in an hour-long live episode, which will see bad boy Callum Logan (Sean Ward) take centre stage as his torment of the Platts comes to a head.

The video, titled Nowhere Left To Run, shows David, Kylie and Sarah Platt – played by Jack P Shepherd, Paula Lane and Tina O’Brien – being chased through the Corrie set in a bid to escape drug dealer Callum.

Great British Bake Off co-host Sue Perkins has thanked fans for their support after revealing she has a brain tumour that means she cannot have children.

The presenter was diagnosed with prolactinoma, a non-cancerous tumour, eight years ago during a check-up while filming television show The Supersizers about diets throughout history.

She went online to assure people she is alright, tweeting: "Ta for sweet tweets about my prolactinoma. It's benign & non-symptomatic. All fine, Let's focus on those less fortunate in the world."

The 45-year-old, who hosts the hit baking show alongside long-time friend Mel Giedroyc, said living with the condition can be a challenge.
