BIDFORD Bridge may be reopened to vehicles by early November - a month ahead of schedule.
The ancient monument was hit by a crop sprayer on June 9 meaning significant repairs needed to be carried out on the stone parapet, spandrel wall and central pier.
Originally, the work on the damaged bridge was expected to take six months to complete.
Works to the lower section of the cut-water were completed on time and the lower level of the scaffolding was removed on August 25.
The closure of bridge on Honeybourne Road has meant drivers have been forced to take lengthy detours.
