A BRAND new independent coffee supplier is rolling into Redditch to open a coffee bar in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.
7th Avenue Baking Co, which serves coffee from a classic Piaggio scooter, will be offering residents lattes, gourmet drinks and fresh waffles and more from its site near the bus station area of The Hub, in the centre’s leisure quarter.
Baristas are recruited from the local area and are trained to produce a range drinks including espressos and hot chocolates.
The team behind the business, Marc Schroder and Alex Hope, created 7th Avenue Baking Co together and now have three carts and retail outlets across the UK.
This follows on from the coffee retailer’s first visit to the town in February.
Speaking on the opening, Mr Hope said: “We’re excited to bring our Piaggio to Kingfisher and look forward to meeting and serving the people of Redditch.”
