AFTER a warm sunny day yesterday the forecast today is much of the same, if not even warmer, across most parts of the Black Country and North Worcestershire.

Any early cloud will soon lift through the morning to leave a fine day with near unbroken sunshine for most areas, leaving temperatures at highs of around 26°C.

It will feel very warm and hot in the strong sun into this afternoon, which will not be affected by quite mild south easterly winds of about 10mph.

Temperatures will increase slightly into this afternoon to reach highs of around the 29°C mark.

With the warm temperatures brings an amber warning, meaning people should be prepared for what could be in store.

The dry conditions will continue overnight with largely clear skies throughout. After a hot day, temperatures will only cool off slightly so feeling warm and very muggy overnight.

The minimum temperatures for this evening are around 16°C.
