To help you beat the traffic blues on your drive home this evening here are a few routes to try and avoid.

The A4101 High Street, Pensnett, where traffic is queuing westbound between Tennyson Street and B4179 High Oak.

The A456 Halesowen where traffic is slow westbound between M5 J3 (Halesowen / Birmingham) and A459 Grange Road / B4551 Grange Hill.

The A456 Kidderminster Road South, Hagley, where traffic is queuing both ways at the junction with A450 Worcester Road.

The A449 Chester Road South Kidderminster where traffic is heavy northbound between A442 Worcester Road / Wilden Lane and A448 Comberton Road.

The M5 northbound where there is slow traffic between J1 for the A41 (West Bromwich) and M6 J8 Birmingham.

Motorists are also reminded there are roadworks in the following locations:

B4497 Icknield Street Drive, Redditch, Worcestershire, at the Ipsley Church Lane junction where there are temporary traffic lights.

 A441 Evesham Road, Redditch, at Crabbs Cross Island where there are temporary traffic lights.

M5 at J4, A38 (Lydiate Ash), Worcestershire, where there are narrow lanes and a speed restriction of 40 mph on M5 in both directions at

A456 Birmingham Road, Hagley; one lane is closed between the Monument Lane junction and the Wassell Grove Lane junction.

B4203 Worcestershire closed in both directions between Great Witley and the Stamford Bridge junction.
