MUSIC lovers flocked to Alcester to attend the annual Winter Folk Festival.
The festival known as the Winter Warmer took place entirely in the Swan Hotel on Swan Street and ran from Friday, February 20 to Sunday, February 22.
There were acts from all over the country and some from closer to home with Kate Akers and Andy Fincham from Alvechurch performing during the event.
Organiser Marje Stanley said: “Everyone seems to have had a good time; they enjoyed themselves and enjoyed the artists and having a go singing.
“We had a few new people, some people had never been before and they said they would coming back again.”
During the event, guests visited the town, sang along with the concerts and enjoy traditional storytelling.
The annual event is now so well established it is included in many popular folk festival calendars.
The folk festival’s summer edition will be returning to Alcester in June.
