Headless Cross Community Orchard received a boost with the donation of a new handmade solid oak bench.
The bench, which has been placed overlooking the Green, was made using local oak from a sustainable source by Scott Hemming and Adam Butler.
The new edition, which was funded by an orchard supporter and weighs nearly a third of a tonne, took a team of volunteers to move it into place.
It is hoped that the bench will give many years of service to the Headless Cross community.
